7:00 pm – 8:00 pm | Michael Phillips, Avid Technology, Inc.
Michael Phillips, Principal Product Designer for Avid Technology, Inc. will demonstrate how Indpendent Filmmakers and others can use Avid's powerful Media Composer® Software to create their narrative and documentary projects. Michael will also demo the very cool Avid AVX plug-in "Looks" from Red Giant Software!

Michael has been at Avid for over 15 years as a Product Designer. Michael also continues to produce and edit feature films to keep his hand in the game. Michael has authored a book on Digital Nonlinear filmmaking, owns and operates www.24p.com, is working on his next book, as well as feature film production. Michael also has 10 patents in 24 frame, interactive, and surround sound technologies as well as an Emmy and Academy Award for Technical Achievement.
